The Poultry Service Association (PSA) is an Ontario not-for-profit membership organization designed to represent individuals and companies involved in the handling and transportation of poultry. The Letters Patent were filed in December 2008 and the final registration completed in March 2009. The current membership includes poultry catching companies, live haul transportation companies, turkey producers and genetics companies, several poultry processors, and other poultry service providers.

With our current membership base, the Poultry Service Association represents approximately 85% of the Ontario commercial poultry catching and 90% of the live haul poultry businesses by volume. - To develop and provide information, materials and equipment in planning and implementing biosecurity programs, worker safety programs, animal welfare programs and other such programs that will assist and benefit the members and others engaged in poultry handling and transportation services;
- To create an information network which will provide education and sharing of information among the sectors, participants, other agriculture organizations; and,
- To work with producers, processors, governments and local communities to establish and maintain practices and activities that benefits the industry and its participants.

- enhanced worker safety;
- Improved poultry handling practices; and,
- Increased communication within the poultry handling sector.
